[It isn’t a particularly cool day in Gotham, but Talia stands in the alleyway in one of the business districts of Gotham, her jacket pulled tight to her. The car that dropped her off speeds away as the clicking of her boots hits the pavement. She’s careful of who would see her, though it would not be surprising to find Miranda Tate here. The entirety of her plan hinges on this one deception, but she’s very aware of who might be meeting her.
Bane had heard of Dr. Crane’s impending release, and while Talia was perfectly fine with the plan progressing as is, but it’s under Bane’s advisement that she should at least consider working with the doctor. Ultimately she isn’t sure if their goals would align, but that does not mean he wouldn’t be amenable. Chaos for chaos’ sake is enough motive for some people, and it’s not like chaos wouldn’t lead to fear.
She considers this as she checks her watch, entering the building through the back door. There’s not much as far as furnishings go, but there is a desk and a couch with a coffee table in front of it. Beside the desk is a bookshelf. This room clearly is used, but by someone meticulous and who takes their work with them, leaving no trace behind. With still ten or so minutes remaining, she moves to the adjoining kitchen to put a pot of water on. Being charming is engrained in her, and since she’s invited him over the least she could do is be a good hostess.
The first floor of the building had clearly been an apartment fifty or so years before. The kitchen, like the rest of the office space, is small, but close enough to the door that should he arrive, she could still be available.]
